GAS treated the World of Dance 2012 in Los Angeles to some hot new vehicles as well as food and drinks in the Hospitality trailer to VIPs who were in attendance. With many cyphers, stage competitions and battles, the dancers who stood out the most were Les Twins out of France. These two individuals mesh just about every type of dance there is along with their signature mime style of storytelling blended into their, “World of Dance.”
Summer is officially here in California it seems we completely skipped both Winter and Spring and can begin the festivities in the sun. Palm trees, drinks, pools, foosball, music & fast cars is how we started off the Coachella weekend. The hot wheels limited edition Mustand along with the Boss 302 rumbled through the Desert as the Aston Martin in it’s stealthy beauty led the path. Galpin Auto Sports unveils their latest creation on 4 rims and tires. Mad Mike introduces all the gentlemen involved in this build for, “Gimme the Gig” contest. Don Waas, Krish and Tom Grill helmed the idea behind the magic & the GAS team lead by Mad Mike handled the task as only true professionals could. Magnolia Memoir gives the recording studio a test run and the outcome was subperb, crisp audio and all on STOCK Ford sound equipment made for a jaw dropping experience all around.
The time has come for the custom widebody Mustang from Galpin Auto Sports to find a new owner. Built by Galpin for industrial company SPX, this specially built Mustang features a hand-built body that widens the car by an incredible nine inches highlighted by PPG Candy Apple Red paint. Under the hood is a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 producing over 700 horsepower, and it has also been fitted with forged three-piece wheels, a custom suede interior, upgraded exhaust system and more.
Whether it was the look and sound of the car or whether bidders were simply feeling generous, this attention-grabbing pony car nabbed a final bid of $160,000, all of which will be donated to benefit the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. You can see our live photos and video from SPEED below.
