1932 Edelbrock Special HIghboy Roadster
Known as the “Edelbrock Special,” Bill Likes’ roadster could be considered the quintessential racing highboy of its era. Bill was the man to beat every time he appeared. Initially using a 1932 roadster body on a 1932 Ford frame painted dark blue, stripped of every nonessential part and packing a potent flathead, the clean, well- turned-out Likes highboy was a top points getter at SCTA and Russetta meets. It was photographed in Hot Rod magazine and Fawcett hot rod publications of the era. The machine shop manager at Edelbrock, Bill Likes always ran Edelbrock-built flatheads, fitted with his employer’s latest equipment and tuned to perfection by Bobby Meeks.

2013 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Halo 4 Edition
Galpin Auto Sports was asked by the Halo 4 team at Microsoft, and Antenna to build a military inspired F-150 Raptor that could be inserted directly into Halo 4, and driven by Masterchief. Step one was to completely dis-assemble the truck and add a custom paint scheme using multiple matte finish greens worthy of a military vehicle on the front lines. The team at GAS also added Line-X spray coating to all fender flares, bumpers, and the bed of the truck. Adding an aggressive stance was achieved by raising the Fox coil over suspension 2.5 inches and adding Ford racing bead lock wheels, and Nitto 35″ mud grappler tires. GAS also added a Whipple industries supercharger and Magnaflow exhaust giving the truck a more aggressive sound and putting over 500 hp to the ground.
GAS knew the inside of this vehicle had to be a gamers paradise. The team added two 7″ head rest monitors and one 10″ drop down monitor. These screens are best put to use by the limited edition Halo4 X box mounted in the custom build “UNSC” enclosure under the rear seat. GAS militarized the interior even further by creating a custom leather and canvas interior that not only looks good but will stand the test of time on the battle field.
The Ford F-150 SVT Raptor is one of those rare, once-in-a-decade vehicles that stands out above the crowd, and has almost universal appeal among truck enthusiasts. The conversion that Galpin Auto Sports achieved on the Halo 4 raptor takes things to another level, upping the antie of custom possibilities on the Ford SVT Raptor.

1965 Shelby GT-350 Barn Find
Garaged in the early 1970s where it remained for 40 years, this all-original 1965 Shelby GT-350, originally sold to Galpin Ford, has only 44,000 original miles. Galpin’s Classic Auto Service was challenged with keeping all the patina while getting the Mustang into road-worthy condition. This pony was given a complete major tune up: the brake system was refurbished while retaining the original components; all component fluids were changed; the heater was rebuilt with a new core; the cooling system was restored to ensure efficient operation and reliability; and the wheel alignment was checked and set to specification. This GT-350 features original Wimbledon White paint with Guardsman Blue stripes, original 289 cid V8 engine giving 306HP, and original interior! Other specs include a 4-Speed Borg Warner Full Synchromesh T10 Transmission and 9.5” Kelsey Hayes Front Disc Brakes. After its extensive servicing, the GT-350 was driven by Galpin VP Beau Boeckmann over 300 miles from L.A. to Pebble Beach, where – culminating in a perfect performance – the “barn find” was shown at the Quail Lodge Motor Sports Gathering at the Concours d’Elegance!

Also added are Shelby 6-Piston front & rear brakes, Magnaflow Quad Exhaust & Ford Racing Performance Suspension. Gimme the Gig II
The new “battle of the bands” TV show, “Gimme the Gig II,” came to GAS with a challenge: put a fully functional and operational recording studio into a Ford Focus! It seemed impossible, but GAS loves a challenge. With sound design and engineering by GAS, Ford, multiple Grammy Award-winning record producer Don Was, and Krish Sharma, this Focus has multi-track recording capabilities built around a protools native DAW, Apogee Symphony interface and Toft in-line recording console. Blending traditional analog processing with digital recording, the unit also features microphone preamplifiers by BAE, dbx dynamics and Empirical Labs compressors. Capturing the audio onstage are microphones by Neuman, AKG, Sure and Marshall. Headphone monitoring by Little Red Box and Sennheiser complete the audio circle and allow recording to be monitored in real time without leakage. The Ford Focus itself provides outstanding playback capabilities with its Sony sound system, blending hi fidelity and real-world punch. It’s the hottest mobile recording studio in town!
