    2011 F150 4×4 – SBE

    This awesome 2011 F150 4×4 was created by G.A.S. for sbe which has established a thriving collection of award-winning hospitality and lifestyle destinations that are developed and managed through its Hotels Restaurants, Nightlife and Real Estate groups. GAS started out with matte grey custom paint, painted gloss black trim, sbe exterior badging, Fuel Hostage 20” wheels paired with Nitto Terra Grappler Tires (305/55/20).  Then, GAS added a front 2” leveling kit, Magnaflow exhaust, N-FAB side steps, T-Rex front grille, Bushwacker extended fender flares, a BAK FLIP tonneau cover and blacked out taillights. The interior includes a black leather headliner, illuminated sbe door sills, custom embroidered sbe logo on custom suede/ leather interior, DVD headrest monitors and the A, B and C-pillars are wrapped in black leather.  This is one exceptionally unique F-150!

    G.A.S. Rig

    Built For: Tony Hawk Foundation

    DUB and Galpin Auto Sports teamed up to build a custom Tony Hawk 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 that was auctioned off. Stand Up for Skateparks focuses on fundraising for the Tony Hawk Foundation so everything went to a good cause. The clean and conservative style of the Mustang is mixed wuth a rugged, action sports-styling.

    Built For: U.S. Airforce – X1

    Galpin Auto Sports collaborated with the United States Air Force to create two customized vehicles for its 2009 Super Car Tour – a new U.S. Air Force recruiting initiative that kicked off in May. The white Ford Mustang ‘X-1’ and black Dodge Challenger ‘VAPOR’ are Air Force-inspired designs that will travel across the country this year as part of a mobile marketing campaign to educate young people on the mechanical and technical career opportunities available within the Air Force.

    Built For: U.S. Air Force – Vapor

    The USAF requested a pair of special touring vehicles to use in Project Supercar – a campaign across America to recruit the next “top guns.” They wanted two unique cars that were “radical on wheels,” cars with airplane-like modifications and Lambo gullwing doors, vehicles that reflect the USAF’s new ad slogan: “Nothing can match the speed, power and reach of the United States Air Force!” (more…)

    Built for: ‘Kick-Ass’ Movie – Red Mist Car

    The new movie ‘Kick-Ass’ in theaters now features a custom one-of-a-kind ride dubbed the ‘Red Mist’ Mustang developed and built by Galpin Auto Sports. The ‘Red Mist’ Mustang was built specifically for the superhero ‘Red Mist’ played by Christopher Mintz-Plasse who you probably know better as McLovin from the movie SuperBad. (more…)

    Built For: Motor Trend

    Angus McKenzie, publisher of Motor Trend, wanted a personal corporate vehicle that was not a town car or limo: an “office on wheels” with the class of a private jet.

    G.A.S. took a 2009 Ford Flex Limited and gutted the entire rear of the vehicle. We built a partition between the front two seats and the rest of the vehicle, then mounted a 46” flat screen on the back of the partition. The back had only two seats, which were Maybach custom seats, heated, air conditioned, and fully powered. (more…)

    Built for: Volvo – 2008 Purple Volvo C30

    Hip! Young! Fresh! This new Volvo C30 brings in some new style with a little old school inspiration from the Volvo designs of the past. Not only is this vehicle equipped with the safety one can expect from Volvo, but G.A.S. has added its own flavor to this 5-cylinder turbo- charged C30, giving the C30 some genuine urban style.     Built For: Ford – 2010 Unleashed

    As part of Ford’s The ’10 Unleashed, Galpin Auto Sports had the opportunity to fulfill a young mans dream.Partnering with  Ford, Daniel Verlarde, a 24-year-old Los Angeles student wanted to permanently display his love of Ford’s pony car with a custom tattoo that would match the graphics on a brand new 2010 Mustang.

    Built For: Walt Disney Pictures

    Disney marketing executives wanted a special show car to add pizzazz to its promotional tour for the animated feature film, “Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure”…a vehicle to immediately capture the fanciful and unusual aspects of the classic Peter Pan stories and movies.

    G.A.S. selected a one-off Honda Insight, let their creative minds go, and produced a magical ride as enchanting as Tinker Bell herself, the world’s most beloved pixie! G.A.S. reproduced the ambiance of Tink’s own Pixie Hollow and its inhabitants, complete with pixie dust, shimmering leaves and vines, an enchanting green luminescent glow, and sparkling fairy wings. The show car proved that dreams really do come true…when you wish upon the customizing stars of G.A.S.!

    Built For: Panasonic

    Panasonic wanted a mobile media center to take to sporting events throughout the United States in order for Panasonic execs to conduct business. They needed the vehicle to have a viewing room, bar with seating area isolated from the rest of the vehicle, and they were looking for a futuristic theme.

    G.A.S. took a 2002 34-ft. Southwind bounder double slideout motorhome and completely gutted it. In the rear of the motorhome, we created a viewing lounge with soundproof padded walls covered in black suede. A T-shaped sofa was custom made for seating in the viewing room. Recessed adjustable lighting with custom cabinets that housed a Blu- Ray dvd player and state of the art Panasonic surround sound. In the front of the motorhome, we modernized the kitchen area with custom black lacquered wood, stainless steel appliances and white marble countertops. A handmade custom bar included Panasonic lighted logo on kickpanel, 42” LED screen, handmade lighted crystal holder with neon blue recessed lighting. Custom couch with handmade floating table and entire vehicle had surround sound with 3 separate generators for total self containment.

    Built For: Pupperoni Dog Food

    PDF wanted to give away a mobile pet palace for a dog as top prize in a contest. They were running a nationwide promotion touring the vehicle throughout the country and signing up prospects.

    G.A.S. took a 2008 Jeep Liberty and completely gutted it. We customized the interior with a doggy ramp for easy entrance, air-conditioning, automatic dog food feeder, tv and dvd and a remote cage and door. A camera was focused on the cage to allow the driver to keep an eye on the dog at all times. Mobile dog wash station on board.

    Built For: McDonald’s

    McDonald’s was looking for the perfect mobile stage for Ronald McDonald to travel around the country making appearances. The vehicle needed to accommodate live shows right out of the unit itself, plus be equipped with a full dressing room and living quarters.

    G.A.S. started out with a 2008 E350 24-ft box van. We completely converted the inside into a mini apartment with refrigerator, air conditioning, 36” plasma TV/DVD and built in custom reclining chair. Rear lift gate was converted to a stage with public address system, stereo system and 4 cameras. Entire vehicle was self contained with generator.
