Garaged in the early 1970s where it remained for 40 years, this all-original 1965 Shelby GT-350, originally sold to Galpin Ford, has only 44,000 original miles. Galpin’s Classic Auto Service was challenged with keeping all the patina while getting the Mustang into road-worthy condition. This pony was given a complete major tune up: the brake system was refurbished while retaining the original components; all component fluids were changed; the heater was rebuilt with a new core; the cooling system was restored to ensure efficient operation and reliability; and the wheel alignment was checked and set to specification. This GT-350 features original Wimbledon White paint with Guardsman Blue stripes, original 289 cid V8 engine giving 306HP, and original interior! Other specs include a 4-Speed Borg Warner Full Synchromesh T10 Transmission and 9.5” Kelsey Hayes Front Disc Brakes. After its extensive servicing, the GT-350 was driven by Galpin VP Beau Boeckmann over 300 miles from L.A. to Pebble Beach, where – culminating in a perfect performance – the “barn find” was shown at the Quail Lodge Motor Sports Gathering at the Concours d’Elegance!
This Shelby show car, which debuted recently at the Quail Lodge Motor Sports Gathering during the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, was designed and customized by GAS. Starting with a 2012 Shelby GT 500, the “wide-body” feature is an all handcrafted sheet metal fabrication, making the body 9” wider and includes sealed rear quarter windows. The paint color is Aston Martin Morning Frost Pearl White. Galpin Auto Sports had custom three-piece wheels made by Forgiato. This vehicle also has a complete custom Crimson Red raised grain leather interior, even the trunk! Power upgrade comes from a Ford Racing/Shelby supercharger, with 750HP on tap. Also added are Shelby 6-Piston front & rear brakes, Magnaflow Quad Exhaust & Ford Racing Performance Suspension. The interior is finished with a luxurious 7-Channel audio system specifically built for this vehicle by McIntosh. McIntosh delivers peak audio output at 1,000 watts with crystal clear sound.
Custom designed by Steve Carpenter of Galpin Auto Sports. Mustang has custom paint with matching roll cage. Vehicle is fully equipped with leather, Roush body kit, Ford Racing scoop and springs. Throttle body with JLT cold air, custom dyno tune, full Bassani exhaust, 20″ rims with Nitto tires and Stop Tech brakes. In an effort to support children and families effected by pediatric cancer, Steve Carpenter and Galpin Auto Sports have teamed up to raise funds and awareness for the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer by auctioning off this custom 2010 Ford Mustang GT.
This 2012 Shelby Mustang Super Snake strikes with a mean 1000HP! GAS took this monster and made it even meaner! GAS cut it up and made it a custom all-metal wide body Shelby adding 9 inches to its waist and including a one-off handmade Shelby suspension and chassis bracing. In addition, GAS applied a custom black paint with custom painted Tungsten Grey racing stripes. GAS equipped this beast with custom made brushed aluminum Forgiato GTR lightweight 3-piece wheels with Super Snake insignia and Pirelli 335/30/20 rear and 295/35/20 racing compound front tires. Staying true to the old school, GAS sealed up the rear quarter windows. The Shelby was loud, but not loud enough, so GAS added electric exhaust cutouts to finish up this beast of a Shelby.
GAS was inspired to build the ultimate BOSS 302. Starting out with an already beefy 2012 BOSS 302, GAS gave it an extra 9 inches with a custom one-of-a-kind handmade all metal wide body that takes this awesome vehicle to a whole new level. Once painted with a GAS designed special one-of-a-kind Matte Orange Pearl PPG paint with custom painted black BOSS graphics, GAS added a custom-built ProCharger supercharger kit to bring this already impressive vehicle over 780HP! Now to put the power to the ground, one-off massive one-piece forged Forgiato wheels were wrapped in Pirelli 335/30/20 rear and 295/35/20 racing compound front tires. A Borla attack exhaust, Stoptech vented and grooved front and rear rotors, Brembro front calipers, Ford Racing lowering springs, Laguna Seca rear wing and Extreme front air dam, and custom sealed rear quarter windows round out the exterior. Inside features a 6-point roll cage painted to match the exterior paint of the car, BOSS 302-X custom embroidered racing seats and a Laguna Seca gauge pod. For the finishing touch, GAS custom painted a racing helmet that also matches the car!
Inspired by the original 1969 Boss 429, this pony was created by GAS specifically for SPX and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and is to be auctioned off for charity at the Barrett-Jackson 2012 Scottsdale auction. Featuring a GAS custom built all-metal wide body, this special edition 2012 Mustang is a whopping nine inches wider than the stock Mustang, making plenty of room for the massive three-piece Forgiato 22×14 rear and 21×11 front GTR wheels and 335/25/22 rear and 295/25/21 front Pirelli P-Zero Rosso tires. To complement the vehicle’s aggressive stance and design, a Ford Racing supercharger boosts engine performance to more than 700HP. Inside features an SPX Sunpro gauge pod kit, SPX Sunpro tachometer and shift light, Hurst short shifter, custom red suede and black leather seats and door panels, black suede headliner and custom Pony embroidered headrests. The SPX Mustang also features BOSS-style functional rear scoops, custom sealed rear quarter windows, a 429 BOSS hood scoop, a CDC modified front spoiler, Laguna Seca rear spoiler, Bassani Performance exhaust system, Ford Racing performance suspension kit, custom formulated PPG 3-stage Candy Apple Red paint, and a custom built 1000-watt JL Audio system with LED accent lighting. GAS is honored to be part of this awesome project, which benefits such a worthy cause!
This awesome pony got the extreme makeover at GAS! GAS started with a Ford Racing Supercharger and with 525 hp under the hood, it would be hard to find anything comparable. G.A.S. then took it to the next level adding a one-off, custom, handmade, all metal wide-body kit, Wilwood brakes and a stunning custom Midnight Black paint with complementary Red custom painted racing stripes. G.A.S. also added a Bassani exhaust system and Massive Forgiato Wheels and Pirelli Tires. Galpin Auto Sports and Mustang – it’s a match made in heaven and it makes for a very, very fast 5.0.!

24-year-old Daniel Verlarde, a longtime Mustang fanatic, decided to express his love permanently by getting a new custom Mustang pony logo tattooed on his body. Verlarde’s experience was made possible by participating in Ford Motor Company’s “The ’10 Unleashed” program, which encouraged consumers to submit entries describing their ultimate Mustang dream experience. “I wanted a tattoo artist to design a 2010 Mustang tattoo and I wanted the creation to be brought to life with the customization of an actual 2010 Mustang,” said Verlarde. “This way, I could be a part of the car and the car would always be a part of me.” Verlarde’s 2010 Mustang tattoo design was then airbrushed onto the Galpinized Mustang. G.A.S. modifications include 20″ wheels, hood scoop, side scoops, side window louvers, rear deck fascia and an FR3 Handling Pack for a lowered stance.
