GAS treated the World of Dance 2012 in Los Angeles to some hot new vehicles as well as food and drinks in the Hospitality trailer to VIPs who were in attendance. With many cyphers, stage competitions and battles, the dancers who stood out the most were Les Twins out of France. These two individuals mesh just about every type of dance there is along with their signature mime style of storytelling blended into their, “World of Dance.”

GAS, or Galpin Auto Sports, has been quite popular with their highly-modified wide-body S-197 Mustangs, among other things. They’ve made quite a name for themselves after appearing on MTV’s Pimp My Ride and have only gone up from there, especially with these new wide-body kits they’ve been hand crafting for the S-197..

GAS had three wide-body Mustangs alone displayed out front of their large SEMA booth this past November. These widened ‘Stangs came in the form of a 2012 Shelby GT 500, a Mustang GT, and an orange BOSS 302. Here’s a look at those and some other Galpin-ized Mustang creations.

Your Mustang Exhaust will never sound better.

The ROUSH® 2011-2012 Mustang Exhaust Kit with Round Tips is a innovative new exhaust system from ROUSH that features a open-chambered design muffler, as opposed to conventional fiberglass-packing.

The result is a exhaust for the Mustang that delivers a unique and less inhibited sound, increased longevity (there is no fiberglass that will break-down with time) and increased air flow for increased horsepower and torque by increasing airflow and reducing back pressure. Another added benefit of this system is the lack of the in-cockpit boom normally found with performance exhaust systems at cruising speeds.

Not only does the ROUSH 2011-2012 Mustang Exhaust sound good, it looks good as well. The round tips are made from high-quality 304 stainless steel and are finished with a chrome flashing process.

Galpin Auto Sports unveils their latest creation on 4 rims and tires. Mad Mike introduces all the gentlemen involved in this build for, “Gimme the Gig” contest. Don Waas, Krish and Tom Grill helmed the idea behind the magic & the GAS team lead by Mad Mike handled the task as only true professionals could. Magnolia Memoir gives the recording studio a test run and the outcome was subperb, crisp audio and all on STOCK Ford sound equipment made for a jaw dropping experience all around.

G.A.S./SPX Widebody Mustang nets $160,000 for St. Judes Children’s Hospital

The time has come for the custom widebody Mustang from Galpin Auto Sports to find a new owner. Built by Galpin for industrial company SPX, this specially built Mustang features a hand-built body that widens the car by an incredible nine inches highlighted by PPG Candy Apple Red paint. Under the hood is a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 producing over 700 horsepower, and it has also been fitted with forged three-piece wheels, a custom suede interior, upgraded exhaust system and more.

Whether it was the look and sound of the car or whether bidders were simply feeling generous, this attention-grabbing pony car nabbed a final bid of $160,000, all of which will be donated to benefit the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. You can see our live photos and video from SPEED below.

The G.A.S. Mustang Retracting Hardtop in Action

Usually when somebody mentions a retractable hardtop, import cars are the first to come to mind for most people. What about a domestic convertible hardtop Ford Mustang? Galpin Auto Sports, or G.A.S., teamed up with Adjwok Designs based out of Malta, Europe to create this attention-grabbing Orange Pearl painted Mustang complete with retracting top.

G.A.S. built this and brought it to the SEMA 2010 show. As I’m sure you already know, The G.A.S. team are definitely no strangers to amazing custom builds as you have probably seen their crazy high quality builds on the show Pimp My Ride featured on MTV.
